Governor Cuomo announced a long-term plan to help ailing homes on Buffalo's East Side and in the Town of Cheektowaga on Thursday morning in Buffalo. The $ 10 million plan is called the “Buffalo Neighborhood Stabilization Initiative” and is a three-pronged plan which officials believe will increase homeownership, prevent foreclosure, and target zombie properties.
