Home foreclosures are down to the lowest level in more than decade in Ohio and across the nation, but the Dayton area in 2016 still ranked as one of the highest in the nation for foreclosure activity. Ohio had the ninth highest foreclosure rate in the country last year, but it's below the one percent threshold for all households, something Daren Blomquist, senior vice president for Attom Data Solutions – the Irvine, Calif.-based real estate data provider, called “an important milestone.”
