The developer who turned the old Dietz lantern factory in Syracuse into luxury apartments is doing the same thing to the historic former Ansco camera factory in Binghamton. Matthew Paulus, founder and president of Syracuse-based Paulus Development Co., held a groundbreaking Wednesday for the redevelopment of the old camera factory into 100 market-rate lofts on its top three floors and nearly 35,000 square feet of commercial space on the ground floor.
