Nineteen states around the country receive Troubled Asset Relief Program funding to help homeowners prevent foreclosures. On Friday, the U.S. Treasury Department released an audit of Nevada's program, saying that the state agency “all but stopped letting people into the program to receive these funds, but it continued to take TARP money for itself.”
