The Volusia-Flagler area saw foreclosure activity fall nearly 47 percent in May, compared with the same month a year ago, according to a new national report. Despite that decline, the combined two-county metro area, identified in the report as “Deltona-Daytona Beach-Ormond Beach,” had the nation's 16th highest ratio of homes in some stage of foreclosure, according to Irvine, California-based RealtyTrac.
