The A.J. Rummel House was converted into the Wunderley Nursing Home in the early 1950s, when the exterior walls were built out about 20 feet and covered with nondescript red brick. The Rummel House, seen in an early photo, was designed by one of Toledo's most respected architects, David L. Stine.
