The report from CoreLogic says the foreclosure rate in the city was only 0.28 percent this May. That's down nearly 1/10 of a percent from May 2015. “While we may see a decline in foreclosures here in Charlottesville, chances are that the folks who are still facing foreclosure are folks who are struggling to make their mortgage payments, struggling to pay their bills,” said Brandon Collins of the Charlottesville Public Housing Association of Residents.
