Vote “no” on the two city of Harvard property tax increases referendums on the April 4 election ballot. If anyone needs any extra motivation for voting “no” on any property tax increase referendum, just remember the last decade of your property values plummeting 30 percent and more, and of mortgages “underwater,” and of foreclosure notices, and the “deaf ear” you got pleading with taxing bodies for lower levies.
