Trumbull and Mahoning Land Reutilization Corporations each were awarded more funding for the demolition of homes as part of the fifth round of Hardest Hit Funds awarded this week by the Ohio Housing Financing Agency. The Neighborhood Initiative Program program is designed to prevent foreclosures and stabilize property values through the demolition and greening of vacant and blighted homes across the state.
