Court records show there were 332 mortgage foreclosure filings during May in Kenosha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine, Walworth, Washington and Waukesha counties, the smallest number in any month since before 2006. That figure was down 73% from the region's worst month for foreclosure filings in the past 10 years – September 2010, when local courts recorded 1,239 in the seven-county area.
