A year after the U.S. Department of Justice sued Quicken Loans and accused the Detroit-based company of committing fraud on loans insured by the Federal Housing Administration, a judge has granted Quicken Loans' motion to move the case to Michigan. The government wanted to hold it in Washington D.C. Quicken Loans argued it wouldn't make sense to hold the case in Washington, when virtually all of the company executives, potential witnesses, records, and loan processing and underwriting operations are in Michigan.
