A new federal report is criticizing the efficiency of Indiana's Hardest Hit Fund, a program that helps Hoosier families avoid foreclosure. The federal Office of Inspector General for the Troubled Asset Relief Program recently released an annual report to Congress, dated July 27. It said SIGTARP identified inefficiencies within Indiana's Hardest Hit Fund, despite being paid $ 32 million in Troubled Asset Relief Program funds.
