The foreclosure rate in the San Antonio-New Braunfels area declined in May to its lowest point since at least 2009, remaining well below the rest of the nation. The rate, which measures the percentage of loans that are in the foreclosure process, fell to 0.57% from 0.62% during May of last year, according to a report released Thursday by CoreLogic, a real estate analytics company.
