Sales of distressed homes nationwide dropped to a nine-year low in 2016, with housing markets improving drastically in many metro areas, but not in Toledo, Ohio. Instead of improving, the metro Toledo housing market worsened last year, with increases in the percentage of bank-owned property sales, foreclosure sales, and short sales, according to California-based real estate data firm.
