The Toledo Museum of Art is trying to assume ownership of the Museum Place Apartments, five buildings across the street from the museum in the city's Old West End that have fallen into disrepair and have cost city taxpayers millions. Adam Levine, the museum's associate director, told The Blade the museum board of directors unanimously voted last month to begin the acquisition process.
