A new report by ATTOM Data Solutions shows the number of vacant homes in the foreclosure process – known as zombie homes – fell to 13 in Collier County and 62 in Lee County in the third quarter. The rate of foreclosures among outstanding mortgages in the Sarasota-Manatee region fell to 1.46 percent in April from 2.93 percent a year earlier, data provider CoreLogic reported Tuesday.
