SANTA ANA Two Orange County men and a Temecula man accused of targeting homeowners on the verge of foreclosure in a suspected home-loan modification scam are facing federal charges, the U.S. Attorney's Office announced on Friday. Michael Paul Paquette, 34, of San Juan Capistrano, Allan Jessie Chance, 34, of Temecula and Dennis Edward Lake, 59, of Costa Mesa were arrested Thursday in connection to an eight-count indictment returned by a federal grand jury in late December, according to the Attorney's Office.
