The Nassau County Bar Association is holding free mortgage foreclosure counseling on July 9 and again on July 23, from 3 to 6 p.m. Held twice a month to meet demand, the clinics are for Nassau residents struggling with the prospect of losing property in Nassau because of mortgage foreclosure. As many as 30 to 40 homeowners attend the clinics, indicating residents continue to grapple with foreclosure matters in Nassau.
