This comes months after mounting legal troubles with Upper Padre Partners – the group who built the Corpus Christi waterpark with plans to transform 500 acres of island real estate into a waterfront attraction similar to the San Antonio Riverwalk. The partnership is made up of the Henry family, which owns Schlitterbahn, and real estate investor Paul Schexnailder.
