A former member of the staff of the Union County Clerk of Court’s Office said that if elected to the office she will be a “hands-on” Clerk of Court who will use her more than 20 years of experience to effectively serve the people of Union County. In a statement released this past weekend announcing her candidacy, Melanie Lawson discussed the importance of the Clerk of Court’s Office and her more than 20 years experience as a member of the staff.
