The “Shakerlan” development will consist 14 apartments, retail, a parking and event area surrounded by artists' studios with glass overhead doors, a courtyard and green space behind the smaller separate building to the west. “The apartments are well under way, and the overhead doors should be arriving within a month,” project architect Mark Fremont said during a Nov. 15 update hosted by the Shaker Square Alliance.
