Jan. 14–ERIE — Though Conneaut Lake Volunteer Fire Department has filed for federal bankruptcy protection to reorganize its debts, the fire department will continue to answer calls just as it has in the past. “There’s no problem with fire protection,” George Zeljak, president of Conneaut Lake Volunteer Fire Department said Wednesday afternoon when contacted by the Tribune.
