The foreclosure rate in the San Antonio-New Braunfels area dropped in July for the 49th month in a row, remaining well below the nation's rate but above that of Texas. The rate, which measures the percentage of loans that are in the foreclosure process, fell to 0.55% from 0.64% during July of last year, according to a report by CoreLogic, a real estate analytics company.
