What needs to happen next for improvements in Detroit – which are so obvious in downtown and Midtown – to reach the city’s neighborhoods? About 700 people – mainly business leaders – considered that question Wednesday during the 5th annual Detroit Policy Conference sponsored by the Detroit Regional Chamber at the Motor City Casino. The guiding principle for the day-long focus on Detroit: “sustaining Detroit’s momentum by supporting and strengthening neighborhoods throughout the city.”
