Tax foreclosures of owner-occupied Detroit homes down 88 percent since 2015

Tax foreclosures of owner-occupied homes in Detroit have been reduced by 88 percent over the past two years, Wayne County and Detroit officials announced Tuesday morning. There were 786 tax foreclosures of owner-occupied homes in Detroit this year, compared to 6,408 in 2015, officials said.
