A Vallejo man who helped scam homeowners that faced foreclosure and lenders out of more than $ 10 million between 2004 and 2008 will be sentenced in November in connection with the scam. Zalathiel Aguila, 45, pleaded guilty last week in federal court in Sacramento to felony conspiracy and wire fraud charges, according to a press release issued Tuesday by federal prosecutors.
