Colorado Springs-area foreclosure activity has spiked during the first two months of 2016, although El Paso County Public Trustee Tom Mowle said it’s too early to predict if that trend will continue. A report released Tuesday by Mowle’s office shows foreclosure notices filed against local residential and commercial property owners totaled 156 in February – the highest number for any month since October 2014.
