Foreclosure activity in the New Orleans metropolitan area in October was down more than 34 percent when compared with September thanks to a considerable drop in the number of auction notices in the area. New Orleans CityBusiness reports October figures were also about 49 percent lower than they were in October 2014, according to data released from Irvine, California-based RealtyTrac.
